It seems the Charlotte city council decided to delay the fall elections until the spring of 2022.  So, six more months of assured stupidity.  The real reason is the Dimos want to wait is for the census data to redraw districts and, of course, hoping the voters will have taken enough meds by that time to digest the 50% raise the council passed recently.  The mayor only received 41% and should feel slighted.  All this crap during "these uncertain times".  ::) 

The Dimos cite the spring election date shift will consolidate some races and result in massive savings.  Gosh, I love their fiscal responsibility.
